Happy Easter

A beautiful day today! After going to the 8am service at church we took the dogs on a 2 1/2 hour walk along the water. Hannah & Ernie took turns on the longboard while Mason & Bailey waded in the water looking for fiddler crabs. I just waddled my fat butt along trying to keep up......lol.

This is Jada, a free spirited neighborhood dog, she usually accompanies us along our walks. Here she is balanced on a log looking for something....

We found this along the shoreline, not sure what it is, but thinking alligator gar... it was pretty stinky and Mason kept trying to eat it!

check out the weird looking scales on this thing!

It's official!

First pompano of the season on St Patty's Day!

After sitting in a cooler for 5 hours it still weighed 3.2 lbs ( they loose weight when sitting) If I had entered the GB tournament, I would have been 1st in the pier division, I didn't enter since I know I won't be able to fish much longer, oh well....

34 1/2 weeks

I have just 5 more shifts to work before I go on maternity leave. March 28 wil be my last day. I went to the dr last week and they scheduled my csection for April 16th . I have a feeling Lauren will be coming sooner then that though. I go this Mon for an ultrasound before I see the doc, to see how big she is, I guess. I feel pretty good for the most part. Lots of Braxton Hicks contractions, sometimes 15 mins apart. She is up in my ribs, so I get this really bad pain up there, especially when I walk fast (like at work). She had hicups this morning it was so neat to feel her, especially when she tries to turn, it is such an amazing thing to feel her body twisting & turning. I don't really remember feeling that with Hannah. I hope I don't forget what it feels like...

Sat morning before heading to the pier, we drove along the beach scouting pompano holes and some new places to put the kayaks in for Cobia fishing this Spring. This first picture shows either some bluefish or bonito busting the water right off the shore. We plan on fishing from the beach a lot this Spring and have a cabana tent to set up to shade the little one. It's never to early to get her out there...lol
Here I am at 32 weeks looking ready to pop. Just 4 more weeks to go!
